Although in the heart of one of Marlborough’s prestigious grape growing areas, Mill Stream farm fattens cattle, is home to Oscar the chocolate lab, Tigger the cat and numerous native birds. Our chooks will keep you supplied with fresh farm eggs.
The cottage has two bedrooms; one downstairs with a king size bed, and one upstairs with a queen size bed and a single as well. All beds are fitted with electric blankets.

From our guest book
The Mill Stream Cottage was perfect for our 3-night stay. Our hosts Jilly and Nigel and their adult family were onsite to greet us and attended to our every need during the stay.We had a complete cottage all to ourselves, large lounge and dining room with comfortable and elegant furniture, plus a large fireplace which we made use of on a very cold and rainy day.Jilly supplied us breakfast provisions and fresh eggs from their property.
Gorgeous garden to explore, quiet and peaceful setting amongst the vines. We stayed in on 2 nights and cooked our own meals, which was very convenient. Great kitchen and local supermarkets close by for all supplies and world class wineries to visit, and the fabulous Aviation Museum which was a particular highlight for us.This accommodation is our absolute favourite place to stay on future visits to Blenheim.
Thank you, Jilly and Nigel, for your warm hospitality. Pamela and Peter Barrien, WA - stayed March 2023
Kim and I have now returned from an amazing trip to New Zealand. The country is so beautiful, the food fresh and delicious but most important of all, the people we met were all so wonderful, friendly and giving. We have such wonderful memories of staying in your cottage. We travelled through a lot of the country on both the North and South Islands and stayed in many wonderful places. We both feel that your cottage and of course the garden were the most magical of all. Having that wonderful surrounding area of Marlborough and the wine region certainly added to the fabulous memories of the place. Being able to “plunder” your beautiful garden for food was amazing – so fresh and tasty. I am now working hard on my garden but am struggling with envy when thinking of Mill Stream Cottage. Once again, thank you both so much for being so friendly and welcoming. We certainly plan to return to New Zealand at some stage. Best regards (to Oscar as well).
